CI QI Collaborative Events Care homes for older people
The Care Inspectorate safe and effective staffing series of 3 partnership events provided an overview of the Health and Care (Staffing)(Scotland) Act 2019 and Quality Improvement (QI) and how it can be used.
The learning outcomes for participants of these events are:
Have knowledge of the Health and Care (Staffing)(Scotland)
Act 2019 and the guiding principles and duties.
Map out the relevant policies and procedures relating to safe staffing within your care setting.
Have knowledge on how the legislation applies to your care setting.
Have knowledge and understanding of how quality improvement and service development will shape safe staffing.
Have knowledge of the local context and professional quality measures of workforce planning in your area.
To earn this Open Badge you will need to:
Attend 3 learning sessions (to be held online)
Within three weeks of attending Learning session 3, answer the following questions (minimum 75 words):
- What did you learn from the sessions?
- How did you apply what you learned to your practice?
- What was the impact of making these changes and how did you know?
We will return applications that do not provide enough evidence showing how you have met these criteria.
