Change Mental Health: Mental health awareness
This badge will help you will gain a broad awareness of mental health and ways in which your interactions can be adapted to promote positive outcomes for service users.
Support in Mind Scotland has at its core, a firm focus on a Recovery Model of practice. This approach requires that service users are not seen in the context of their diagnosis but are first and foremost valued as individuals.
To do this effectively, we need to be skilled communicators.
