SCMA Childminders: Realising the Ambition: Being Me
Completing this Open Badge will enable participants to develop their own understanding of Realising the Ambition: Being Me as a document which provides national practice guidance to support staff in providing high quality early learning and childcare.
Realising the Ambition: Being Me is for anyone who is involved with caring for young children. The Care Inspectorate expect childminders, to be able to demonstrate at inspection how they are using the resource to develop practice and enhance outcomes for children.
Childminders should be able to:
- Draw on their experiences of working with children, reflecting and carrying new ideas forward into their current practice.
- Provide appropriate support to children as they progress through different stages of development.
- Demonstrate the quality experiences children should be exposed to.
