Privacy notice

Our data protection and privacy notice provides details of your rights in relation to data processing in relation to the MyLearning Service, including the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner.

National Induction Framework (on TURAS) and MyLearning app connectivity

To support the integration of learning and development systems, the MyLearning app connects directly to TURAS to allow you to view and track your progress through the National Induction Framework (induction progress is held on TURAS but is viewable through the MyLearning app). This connectivity ensures streamlined access to induction resources and supports the tracking of user progress within the framework.

The data exchanged between the MyLearning app and the National Induction Framework is as follows:

• We will share your MyLearning email address so TURAS can allow your MyLearning account to access your induction progress.
• On request, TURAS will share the completion status of your induction modules.

This integration upholds our commitment to improving the capability and knowledge of the social services workforce. All data processed through this connection complies with UK GDPR and is treated with strict confidentiality. The data will not be stored by the SSSC.

In addition, if you opt to share your induction progress with your employer, your name, names of completed modules and the date of completion will be sent to your chosen recipient via email, and the files attached to this email held on our MyLearning server for 24 hours before being deleted. This is for support purposes only.

Retention

The personal information we collect through our MyLearning system will be retained until the user deletes their badges and/or account. User accounts which have not been accessed for 2 years will be deleted. Users will be informed in advance of this by email and will be given an opportunity to reactivate their account.
