It is intended to complement, not replace, accredited training. It is not evidence that someone is competent in the administration of medication.
This Open Badge is available to anybody working in social services who completes module two, Understanding medication, of our Safe Administration of Medication resource. To obtain the badge, you need to work through the module, discuss your learning with your manager or tutor and submit the evidence requested within the criteria.
Once awarded, this badge is only valid if you have it endorsed by your manager or tutor.
