AC/AHSCP Resilience and Wellbeing (B3785)
This badge will help the learner positively promote their own resilience and wellbeing and that of others.
This badge will help learners evidence their progression towards the following standards:
Standard 6 – Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the wellbeing of self and others.
The criteria set below is an indicative list of sources of knowledge that can be utilised in order to achieve this badge, you may wish to use other sources.
- Have attended the short workshop “Developing Personal Resilience”
- Completed the tool “Personal Resilience Assessment Tool 2014”
- Develop an action plan to develop and maintain personal resilience.
- Have accessed the curated resource “Resilience resources for social work and social care workers”

To successfully complete the badge learners must evidence their understanding of the key issues and demonstrate their application in practice by completing the activities listed below:
- Upload evidence of your discussion(s) with your team manager/mentor which show the steps you are taking to manage your own wellbeing and resilience and your approach to managing the emotional impact of stress and distress.
- Upload your revised resilience and wellbeing action plan.
- Upload evidence of a discussion with a relevant person on your approach to supporting the wellbeing of others.
We will accept evidence in audio, written or pictorial formats, case examples can be in the format of anonymised records or reports.
