Playlist for Professionals
Playlist for Life is one of the UK’s leading music and dementia charities. Our professional course is aimed at individuals working in healthcare and social care (such as GPs, nurses, NHS link workers, individuals from small care homes, etc.). This interactive course explains the benefits of using personalised playlists to support those living with dementia by building and integrating playlists into your work. This is an evidence-based, person-centred intervention that supports health and well-being, promotes independence, and helps people to live well with dementia.

To earn the open badge for this course, you will need to:
- Complete the 2 webinars and short eLearning course ‘Playlist for Professionals’ on Playlist for Life’s eLearning site – https://training.playlistforlife.org.uk/courses/playlist-for-professionals/
Reflective piece to be completed after returning to your role and implementing learning:
- Tell us how you have used what you learned in your role. (400 words minimum and include the following points)
- Have you used personally meaningful music with someone you support?
- How did you approach finding music that was personally meaningful to them?
- What effects did you see for the person or the other people supporting them?
- How has this learning impacted or improved your practice?
- Tell us how you will share what you have learned with others in your organisation
