Introduction to Playlists
Playlist for Life is one of the UK’s leading music and dementia charities. Our courses will give you all the knowledge and skills you need to use personally meaningful music in your own work and inspire you with real-life stories showing the powerful benefits personal music brings. This is an evidence-based, person-centred intervention that supports health and well-being, promotes independence, and helps people to live well with dementia.

This is an evidence-based, person-centred intervention that supports health and well-being, promotes independence, and helps people to live well with dementia.
To earn the open badge for this course, you will need to:
- Complete the short eLearning course ‘Introduction to Playlist for Life’ on Playlist for Life’s eLearning site. This will take around 2hours and please fill out the evaluation form as your comments and feedback are valuable to us.
- In your own words share some of the ways that personalised playlists can improve wellbeing for someone living with dementia or their family carers. (50 words minimum).
- Tell us how you would approach finding music that is personally meaningful to someone. (50 words minimum)
- Tell us how you will use what you learned in your day-to-day work or personal life. (25 words minimum)
