Helping people who use drugs with their oral health
This Open Badge is awarded to social services workers who complete the Helping people who use drugs with their oral health learning resource on TURAS.
This Open Badge is awarded to people who complete the Helping people who use drugs with their oral health module on TURAS. The module will help you to understand what a healthy mouth is and how oral health contributes to a person’s overall wellbeing. It will describe common diseases of the mouth and how using drugs can negatively impact people’s oral health. It will equip you with some key health messages and other useful information that you can share with people who use drugs who you might encounter in your day-to-day work.
NHS Education for Scotland’s vision is to lead through sustainable educational solutions and working collaboratively with key partners to reduce inequalities and improve oral health for priority groups.
