Early Years Scotland Annual National Conference featured guests and speakers including Maree Todd MSP, Minister for Children and Young People. Aldo Fortunati, President of La Bottega di Geppetto and Barbara Pagni, Scientific Coordinator of La Bottega di Geppetto gave a Keynote speech on Children’s protagonism; The San Miniato Approach, and Professor Sue Ellis, Professor of Education, University of Strathclyde discussed Playful literacy pedagogies. Deirdre Grogan, Senior Knowledge Exchange Fellow, University of Strathclyde presented Curious Children: The wonders of learning, and Catherine Agnew, Chief Inspector (Children’s Services), Care Inspectorate updated on Key Developments with Care Inspectorate.
