Familiarize self with AAPC policies and guidance (including Information Sharing, Chronologies, Resolution and Escalation, Professional Curiosity, Self-Neglect and Hoarding)
Familiarize self with committee induction process – AAPC Induction Process and shadow a Committee meeting
Familiarize self with Initial Case Review (ICR) and Significant Case Review (SCR) process – AAPC ICRSCR Guidance
ADULT SERVICES STAFF ONLY in addition:
Shadow an adult protection investigation
Attend a Core Group Meeting
Discussion with team manager or mentor evidencing understanding of the threshold of risk
Discussion with any relevant person which includes reflection on case conference and core groups
Discussion with a relevant person about the differences in criteria between adult and child protection
Discussion with team manager or mentor evidencing a working knowledge of partnership areas, specialist services and an ability to signpost
Reflect on your experience of shadowing at a multi-agency forum and your learning from this. (max 500 words if written)
Upload a testimony from another attendee on your contribution at a Case Conference or other multi agency meeting
Reflect on or otherwise evidence your understanding of multi-agency forums across the organisation, including their function and the roles of others, what these mean for your practice and how this has impacted on your practice
